How We Learn Effectively Through 21st Century Learning Skills?

 Learning skills are of great importance in today's education system. In addition to what is taught, how we learn is also important.We have many opportunities and opportunities to learn in today's conditions.

Critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, communication, social skills, teamwork, media, problem solving and ethics are among the most popular learning skills in today's era. The cooperation of these, social skills and teamwork are skills that require us to interact with other people.For me, learning in interaction with other people has a more important place than individual learning.Because we can solve a problem that we can't do or understand alone,we can solve the problem better by working in a group.Other people may know about a topic that one of us does not know or does not understand.That is why learning through interaction is an important thing.Critical thinking is also important.It allows us to think in all its details in a broad framework and act accordingly it's a skill.

All of these skills are methods that we should apply while learning in everyday life.It also benefits us to use not only one of them, but all of them together.

  As I mentioned in the title, we have come to the end of this beautiful thing. We have come to the end of another semester and this semester we have seen a lesson the like of which we have never seen before: Instructional Technologies and Material Design in English Language. This course contributed a lot to me. I had the opportunity to improve myself by carrying out projects with technologies, applications and teaching techniques that I had never heard of before. Creating an AR/VR integrated teaching material

 In this project, I worked with  Emirhan Korkmaz ,  Emir Batu Özdemir , and  Hüseyin Obut . We prepared a material using AR/VR technologies. As a subject, we chose to explore a foreign country. The country we chose was Italy and we chose Florence as the city. We visited a cathedral in Florence in 360 videos, and a museum using 3D technologies, we also put a YouTube video about the local food there and we wrote questions about all these to determine whether the students understood or not. As homework, we asked the students to imagine that they spent a day in Florence and write a diary of at least 150 words, describing the places they visited, the food they ate, and the things they experienced during the day. Overall, I enjoyed doing this project and found it very useful for the students. Creating an instructional video for the flipped instruction

    In this study, I worked with Emirhan Korkmaz , Hüseyin Obut , and Emir Batu Özdemir . We prepared a study using the Flipped Instruction method. Flipped Instruction Approach is a learning approach that reverses the traditional education model. In the traditional model, the teacher teaches in the classroom and the students do their homework at home. In Flipped Instruction, students first examine the course materials at home, get an idea about the subject, and then come to class. Class time is mostly devoted to activities such as discussion, problem-solving, and group work.This type of learning has many benefits. Some of these are; students use their time in class more effectively, each student has the opportunity to learn at their own pace, and there are more opportunities for practice in class.
