 I worked with  Emir Batu Özdemir ,  Emirhan Korkmaz  and  Hüseyin Obut . In this project, we prepared a study for high school preparatory class students. Our study consists of three pages in total. On the first page, we asked the students to write a paragraph of 100-150 words about a city they have visited before or a city they want to visit. Then we sent their writings to ChatGBT and asked them to evaluate them. On the second page, we asked them to review their writings in line with the feedback they received, complete their deficiencies and write them again. On the last page, we asked a few questions about the activity they did and the AI technology they used. I think we made a successful lesson plan emphasizing the importance of AI technology.  In this project, I worked with  Emirhan Korkmaz ,  Emir Batu Özdemir , and  Hüseyin Obut . We prepared a material using AR/VR technologies. As a subject, we chose to explore a foreign country. The country we chose was Italy and we chose Florence as the city. We visited a cathedral in Florence in 360 videos, and a museum using 3D technologies, we also put a YouTube video about the local food there and we wrote questions about all these to determine whether the students understood or not. As homework, we asked the students to imagine that they spent a day in Florence and write a diary of at least 150 words, describing the places they visited, the food they ate, and the things they experienced during the day. Overall, I enjoyed doing this project and found it very useful for the students.     In this study, I worked with Emirhan Korkmaz , Hüseyin Obut , and Emir Batu Özdemir . We prepared a study using the Flipped Instruction method. Flipped Instruction Approach is a learning approach that reverses the traditional education model. In the traditional model, the teacher teaches in the classroom and the students do their homework at home. In Flipped Instruction, students first examine the course materials at home, get an idea about the subject, and then come to class. Class time is mostly devoted to activities such as discussion, problem-solving, and group work.This type of learning has many benefits. Some of these are; students use their time in class more effectively, each student has the opportunity to learn at their own pace, and there are more opportunities for practice in class. Creating Corpus-Based Teaching Materials: An Innovative Approach Today, the rapid development of technology has paved the way for innovative approaches in the field of education. As a group of four, we have undertaken a project titled “Corpus-Based Teaching Material” in the Current Issues in Technology course at our university. This project aims to utilize language data so that students can use materials more effectively in the process of language learning and teaching. Corpus is a dataset that contains a large amount of text data related to language use. In our project, we aimed to create educational materials using this data. These materials, which provide students with the opportunity to practice the natural use of language and its meaning, promise to be more interactive and up-to-date, unlike traditional textbooks. I feel very happy and excited to meet you again. Last year I shared posts from this blog and I really enjoyed it. Last year I did some work such as preparing a podcast, digital story, collaborative writing. It was very educational to do these and it was also fun to do them and share them on my blog. This year I will do them in the “Current Issues in Education” course. I will conduct studies on the current status of education and the technologies used for education and share them. While doing these, I will get help from the projects given by my instructor. Also, like the group work I did last year, it was quite enjoyable and educational. It helped to develop both learning and sense of responsibility at the same time. This year, I will do similar work. I am very excited about next year and the activities we will do.   As I mentioned in the title, we have come to the end of this beautiful thing. We have come to the end of another semester and this semester we have seen a lesson the like of which we have never seen before: Instructional Technologies and Material Design in English Language. This course contributed a lot to me. I had the opportunity to improve myself by carrying out projects with technologies, applications and teaching techniques that I had never heard of before. In today's world, which is technologically developing in every field, it is very important to use technology for education. Thanks to this course, we discussed how and in what ways we can achieve this goal.
