We have come to the end of another term...

 This semester, we took a course called “Current Issues in Teaching” which was very important for me. In this course, we learned how to integrate advanced technology into English language teaching and how to teach the lessons more efficiently. I didn't have any difficulties in this course because our teacher Mustafa explained the subject very well and then gave the necessary instructions and asked us for projects. We did these projects as group work and we had a lot of fun doing them. The project I enjoyed doing the most was “Creating an instructional video for the flipped instruction”. It took us about 8-9 hours to do this project. While preparing it, we had difficulties, especially in the audio recording part, but we had quite fun moments. I think the lesson was taught in the best way. I can't think of anything that could be improved. Everything was very good. My friends who will take this course in the future should listen very carefully to the lesson and fulfill all the things the instructor wants. Because taking this course will add a lot to them in every sense.

To summarize, this course contributed a lot to me. I learned many technologies that I will use in my classroom when I become a teacher in the future. I feel very lucky to learn such methods in today's technological age. I would like to thank Mustafa Polat, who gave us the lesson, and everyone who contributed. It was very nice to be with you, take care of yourself...

  As I mentioned in the title, we have come to the end of this beautiful thing. We have come to the end of another semester and this semester we have seen a lesson the like of which we have never seen before: Instructional Technologies and Material Design in English Language. This course contributed a lot to me. I had the opportunity to improve myself by carrying out projects with technologies, applications and teaching techniques that I had never heard of before. In today's world, which is technologically developing in every field, it is very important to use technology for education. Thanks to this course, we discussed how and in what ways we can achieve this goal. Creating an AR/VR integrated teaching material

 In this project, I worked with  Emirhan Korkmaz ,  Emir Batu Özdemir , and  Hüseyin Obut . We prepared a material using AR/VR technologies. As a subject, we chose to explore a foreign country. The country we chose was Italy and we chose Florence as the city. We visited a cathedral in Florence in 360 videos, and a museum using 3D technologies, we also put a YouTube video about the local food there and we wrote questions about all these to determine whether the students understood or not. As homework, we asked the students to imagine that they spent a day in Florence and write a diary of at least 150 words, describing the places they visited, the food they ate, and the things they experienced during the day. Overall, I enjoyed doing this project and found it very useful for the students. Creating an instructional video for the flipped instruction

    In this study, I worked with Emirhan Korkmaz , Hüseyin Obut , and Emir Batu Özdemir . We prepared a study using the Flipped Instruction method. Flipped Instruction Approach is a learning approach that reverses the traditional education model. In the traditional model, the teacher teaches in the classroom and the students do their homework at home. In Flipped Instruction, students first examine the course materials at home, get an idea about the subject, and then come to class. Class time is mostly devoted to activities such as discussion, problem-solving, and group work.This type of learning has many benefits. Some of these are; students use their time in class more effectively, each student has the opportunity to learn at their own pace, and there are more opportunities for practice in class.
