 This semester, we took a course called “Current Issues in Teaching” which was very important for me. In this course, we learned how to integrate advanced technology into English language teaching and how to teach the lessons more efficiently. I didn't have any difficulties in this course because our teacher Mustafa explained the subject very well and then gave the necessary instructions and asked us for projects. We did these projects as group work and we had a lot of fun doing them. The project I enjoyed doing the most was “Creating an instructional video for the flipped instruction”. It took us about 8-9 hours to do this project. While preparing it, we had difficulties, especially in the audio recording part, but we had quite fun moments. I think the lesson was taught in the best way.  I worked with  Emir Batu Özdemir ,  Emirhan Korkmaz  and  Hüseyin Obut . In this project, we prepared a study for high school preparatory class students. Our study consists of three pages in total. On the first page, we asked the students to write a paragraph of 100-150 words about a city they have visited before or a city they want to visit. Then we sent their writings to ChatGBT and asked them to evaluate them. On the second page, we asked them to review their writings in line with the feedback they received, complete their deficiencies and write them again. On the last page, we asked a few questions about the activity they did and the AI technology they used. I think we made a successful lesson plan emphasizing the importance of AI technology.
